Q. How do I install OpenSSH server on Asus EEE Laptop PC?
A. ASUS Eee PC is a portable computer. You can easily install OpenSSH server EEE pc. All you have to do is update software source and use apt-get command for installation.
Step # 1: Update /sources.list file
Login to your portable PC and open terminal
Become root user by typing any one of the following command:
$ sudo su -
OR
$ sudo bash
Open /etc/apt/sources.list file
# vi /etc/apt/sources.list
Append following line:
deb http://ftp.iitm.ac.in/debian etch main

Step # 2: Install OpenSSH Server
# apt-get update
# apt-get install openssh-server
Task: Start SSH Service
# /etc/init.d/ssh start
Task: STOP SSH Service
# /etc/init.d/ssh start
